Wiggles and some scrappage~photo heavy!!!

How could I do a post and not share some photo's of Wiggles. That is her new name because the girl never stays still. My heart was broken in two today, she had her first baby jabs. The Doc thought I was going to punch him, I cried so much. Wiggles cried for around half an hour and I am so glad that Steve was there. I seriously dont think I could of handled it. I had my check up while there and all is okay, I am back on the pill now so no babies for me, well hopefully another is on the cards in the future. I couldnt have Emily as an only child, she would be spoilt to death.

In other news the little tubber weighs 10lb 13oz now and is 54.5cm long. So she is thriving. She has just started to suck her thumb, and boy is it the cutest thing ever. It makes me want to cry with happiness whenever she does it. She also grabs and cuddles her muslin's when we feed her, so I am going to get her a blanket baby when I go to Tesco next. Oh how I laughed when I found this little gem, loving her fluffy hair and silly eyes.

I thought it was time to share a few bits I have been doing.

Things I hold deer~ mini album.

This book is filled with all the yummy ideas and pic's I have taken from magazines etc. A happy and tidier way to store them. It is working progress and I will share more pic's when I can. I am hoping Miss Wiggles has an early night so I can play with my new paper from Basic Grey that came today. I dont normally rush to buy BG but Urban Praire made my heart sing! I am just waiting for Steve to get back to work so I can buy some other bits I want, the list is never ending.

Emily is going to spend the day with Steve's Mum on Thursday, so I plan to get the housework done before she goes and then scrap away. I did most of the ironing yesterday so I had less to do and more time to myself. Even though Steve is off and I have an extra pair of hands I still manage to get behind. That boy just makes me lazy. I am getting more yummy food cooked though, I made stew and dumps today and on Sunday I made a meat and potato pie which was gorgeous if I do say so. I love this staying at home thing, it rocks!!

Well the pots need washing before Emily wakes, so 'type' soon and Helena I will get to the post office soon, I promise.

I cannot get enough of those sweet lips!

Gee, it seems ages ago since my last post. I am slack, but to be honest blogging does not hold dear to me at the moment. I just cannot get enough of my baby's sweet lips. She smells so damn gorgeous I could just eat her up. I want to spend all my time with her, but I have done a layout and started a mini album, just need to get some photo's when I can be bummed! Emily has been enjoying 'big girl' baths with myself or Steve and she really enjoys them. I miss the really warm water but the enjoyment I get having her 'swim swims' with me outweights it! She is really filling out and coming on now, her face is changing, her legs are getting chubby, she still never fails to amaze me. She masters new things on the daily and she seems so forward.

Things were just perfect, but someone always wants to break the happy bubble dont they! Oh yes and it always happens to us. Steve and two other lads at his work have been laid off due to no work. Dont get me wrong, having Steve at home is a delight and a God send but of course bills still need to be paid! Here's to hoping that it wont be long this time, as our savings wont last long.

Well must dash, Emily has just woken and Steve is doing his tea. Yay, baby kisses and cuddles for me.

Winners, scrappage, smiling babies and the never-ending wash load!

So here I am blogging again. I am doing well to keep updated at the moment. I am trying to check blogs too and keeping up with that, so yay to me!!! Okay so other things are getting sidetracked. I am still sat in my jammies and it is 1.30 in the afternoon!But the washing has been done, the baby is feed, clean and changed and the hoovering has been tackled.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of Steve's Mum down to help out. Poor Steve was off work sick, but I took full advantage to it and got some scrapping down and started making a start on cleaning and sorting my scrap stuff. My new Sass Lass paper arrived yesterday along with some other goodies and I am excited to get upstairs to play. I am going to make myself use some of my older stash before I break out the new, as I am getting over-run with paper! Not as though it is a bad thing ;0) Emily

Miss Emily has been a bugger of late, she will just not settle at night. I have tried waking her up in the day to no avail, she just stays firmly asleep. She has a thing of making loud noises when she sleeps and it is keeping me up at night, so she is going to sleep in her own room tonight and I am going to start to try and get a bedtime routine in place. Wish me luck!! Steve and I need an hour or two at night to ourselves as we are really missing each other.

On to another story, I cannot believe how much washing I do. I am going to rename myself. So from now on please call me the 'wash whore' I have never washed so much in my life, I cannot believe how dirty babies are, sick, spit, pee and the list goes on!

I got Steve to pick a random number for the RAK and the winner is.......................drum roll please......He chose number 11 as it is his birth month so Helena come on down girlie!!

10 Gorgeous Emily toes

Emily is putting on weight so fast, she was weighed on Tuesday and is now 8lb 3oz and she has just gone on hungry baby formula as I was feeding her all the time. She is such a little piggy, but still hardly of her clothes fit her yet!

She boff's up every now and then and when Steve was playing with her about 45 mins after a feed this afternoon, she decided to do a little sick on her Daddy as Mummy normally gets it. So Steve held her away from the settee and in a position that if she was sick again she wouldnt be sick on herself. As he moved her she was a little sick again on the floor, dog's being dog's came over to have herself a little warm milky treat and Emily boffed for England all over her. How Steve and I laughed, I was trying to clean them up but just had to grab the camera!!!

My sweet sleepy girl. I just cannot stop clicking away, I have so many photo's of my girl it is unbelievable!

I have lost another 2lbs without trying. Well not having the time to eat during the day helps. Emily has been suffering with colic, so all she seems to do is cry, cry an awful lot to be honest. She never seems to settle well and I feel so sorry for her. It is hard work but the nights are not too bad. When she finally settles around 11-12pm she will sleep for around 3 hours at a time then wants a feed. Normally I get an hour in the morning to get the washing on, bottles made and the housework done. I am just looking forward to a bit of time to myself. Steve's Mum is coming down this week for a few days to help out, so I can get caught up and enjoy some chill time.

I want to say thank you to those of you who was so kind to us and sent us cards and pressies. You know who you are, and because of the kind hearted people in the world of blogger and UKS I am going to do a RAK. I have got together a few bits and bobs on a autumn feel as the days are getting cooler! I have included some BG papers, a Maya Road tin of chipboard frames, some paints, ribbon and a few other bits. So make sure you leave a message to get counted and I will get Steve to pick a winning random number later in the week. Good luck!

So happy to have her...........

My little lady, my sweet sweet Emily. I cannot believe that tomorrow she will be 3 weeks old. I also cannot believe how much she has grown and changed. When people say 'Oh they grow up so fast' I kinda thought, well yes, but a day is still a day. But I totally understand it now.

Emily is a little smiler, she tries to hold her head up and sometimes does manage it. She crawls up your chest when she is having a cuddle. The other night while feeding her, she held her own bottle and tipped it up, I swear it is true! She is very aware of her surroundings and follows voices. She watches intently when you talk, and at times mimics my mouth movements. Emily just amazes me and I am so blessed to have her.

I find myself just looking at her while she sleeps and feeling an emotion so powerful, it fills my heart and I know she is the reason for me being here, she is my life, my purpose, my all. I just cannot describe the love I feel for her. I could not imagine my life without her and I cannot understand why I did not have her sooner.

I always knew being a Mummy was what I wanted. Dont get me wrong, I enjoyed my 'childless' life, but I felt I had no purpose. I was just strolling along with no real meaning. Plodding through the days, weeks and years, wishing for the weekend and generally struggling with my life. It was a good job I had Steve to keep me grounded.

When I met Steve, I knew we had something special and I knew we would have children. I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him and share the joys and pains of raising children with him. I just cannot thank him enough for giving me the greatest gift of all, my Emily. I dont think if I could live for a million years I could ever repay him. Emily is my time thief and I enjoy every moment spent with her. Even when she is crying her eyes out for something I dont know she needs, when she just wont go to sleep, when I am trying to do something important, she just makes me happy. When I pick her up from crying and she instantly stops just because she wanted a cuddle, my heart smiles. She fills my life with so much joy and I am so happy to have her.

Okay so you may all get bored of this 'baby' thing, but I don't care. My little Princess the the most gorgeous little thing in the world. I don't want to do anything much, other than hold Emily, take her photo and spend time with her wonderful Daddy. It is just a shame he has to go to work.

Emily is growing well, she was 7lbs 2 1/2oz on day 10 and she will get weighed again on Thursday. I however have lost weight, yay! I am only about 7lbs heavier than when I fell pregnant so that should not take me long to get off. I must admit though that I am much happier in my own skin since being a mummy, so I am in no rush to lose weight. I just want to enjoy my baby girl. Emily has a funny thing she does with her hands, I think she looks like she is rapping when she gets going!!

I am just starting to get back on track with everything, it is taking sometime to adjust with the lack of sleep. I just cannot seem to catch up with it in the day when she sleeps, I must just be a sucker for punishment! I am dying to scrap, I just need to finish uploading my pic's and editing them. I have took so many I dont know where to start!

I have been checking blogs, just not leaving comments at the moment. I only get a short time to myself and seem to have so much to cram in, so please bear with and remember I have not forgot about you guys!

Right, the night is getting on and I have stuff to sort. I should be back to normal soon, but at the moment I just want to spend all my spare time snuggled up with Emily.

She measured 47cm long
She weighed a tiny 6lb 6oz and none of her clothes fit
Mummy had a bad time, ouch!

We are all oh so very tired

The one about the false alarm.......so close yet no cigar (Long story)

It all started on Thursday night around 7.30. I had been experiencing period-like pains and back ache all day then my contractions started. They were coming around every 15 mins and lasting about 30 seconds each!

Steve and I were so excited, we thought this was finally it!

We stayed up for a while as I couldn't sleep due to the pain, so I took some paracetamols and had around an hour biting and bobbing. I sent Steve to bed for a few hours while I soaked in the bath. I then decided that enough was enough and we sorted out the bags, rang the home and got in the car at around 1.30am!

After waiting outside the home for 15 mins, me being sick and mooing around on all fours, we were finally let in only to discover that the team and ward I was supposed to be on was closed due to staff shortages! Typical!! I had all my tests done was was told that I was nearly 1cm dilated, man I thought this baby was coming out!! So I was sent home to rest..............whatever!, easier said than done when you are in pain.

The night progressed, the contractions were closer together and lasting longer. I was in more pain and guess where my boy was.................yep in bed!! Bless him he was knackered and couldn't even time my length of contractions as he kept bobbing off. Men are no use to man nor beast!!

It got to about 7am and I was ready to go back to the home because I had not felt the baby move for a while, I had just taken some more pain relief and got in bed with Steve for 30 mins or so then got in the bath again. Steve's mum rung in the meantime and told me to put on my fave CD and sing really loud to chill myself out and help take my mind off the pain. So out came westlife and it did help. So off on facebook I went, sent some emails and did a few text messages.

Steve decided that we needed some 'before we went to the home pics' Which I thought was dead sweet of him, it was the last thing on my mind, but at least I can document the moment. That is why I love him so!
Gee I was pale!

We got to the home and they had no beds.............typical so I was taken down to the anti-natal care day unit. My contractions were every 4-5 mins and lasting 35-45 seconds. I had an internal and a bit of a sweep and was told I was still 1cm dilated!! I did have my 'show' after my prodding so that was good! (sorry for the graphic details) My blood pressure was okay but my temperature and pulse were slightly raised and the baby's heart-beat was slightly elevated, so they wanted to monitor me.

I was taken upstairs again and monitored and my contractions began to slow down. I had another internal around 4pm and was told I was not progressing and to go home! I wanted to cry. I had been through all that pain, lack of sleep and excitement for nothing.

So here I am still in pain, still contracting which are now getting stronger and longer. I have had a good night sleep thanks to the codeine I was given and I am ready for round two, when she finally arrives! Wish me luck!!

Baby update.................

The update is that the baby is not here yet, she is due today and I feel fine, other than a few tightenings and backache. My blood pressure is up again and the protein has returned, but they are not too concerned! The midwife said she would call me later today if they wanted blood samples or to see me again before next monday, but I have heard nothing so far!

Hoping I am not pregnant for much longer....................I am ready to meet her now. But knowing my luck she will be late, very late!

I am trying to keep busy, I am cleaning, washing and doing some scrappage. I am also trying to take it easy and chill at the same time, not an easy task, especially when Steve goes back to work tomorrow. I just get bored and need to keep myself busy!

I had a lovely afternoon today. After the hospital appointment, we went to see Steve's Mum as she wanted to nip some rubbish to the tip. As a thank you she took Steve, his bro Ryan and I out for lunch. It was a gorgeous meal with fab company, it was just a shame that Ryan had to shoot off to work early. I had garlic king prawns, lasagne and then a very naughty chocolate tart for afters......this was about 5 hours ago and I am still soooooo stuffed. I am keeping my energy up, honest. I dont normally eat so much, tee hee!!

I will keep you updated as much as I can.

I am in the process of updating my blog lists, doing a new header and other bits and bobs ready for my new life as a Mummy! I want change, I need change and I am ready to embrace it! So please bear with me while I am doing this.

I have been stash shopping, I have been food shopping, I have been cleaning. I have baked bread and butter pud, I have ingredients to make bread, I have been busy, I have not been sleeping well but I feel good and I feel ready to have this baby now. I am crampy, backachey, I have stomach ache and feel heavy down below......................I am hoping things are moving along and she is nearly ready!

I had a lovely 'date' night with Steve yesterday. We went out for tea,walked around the boating lake and then to the pictures to see The dark knight. I was sooooo impressed, I could go and see it again now, so I recommend you go now and see it!! I must admit I really didnt like Batman, but I wanted to go and see Heath Ledger's (Sob) performance (Which was absolutely inspiring and fantastic) Steve made me watch Batman Begins last weekend and I totally loved it. I am hooked now and am waiting for the next one!

Right, I am thinking that this will be my last post for a while. My next one will hopefully have pictures of my sweet little baby

Hooooray!!!!

Good news guys, after a barrage of tests, blood-work and hospital appointments, yesterday I was put back on midwife led care and all is fine with me and baby. The good thing about having to go into hospital is that I know that they have internet access in the rooms, so I can blog with the good news as soon as I am ready!

With less than 2 weeks till her due date, I am on a cleaning mission in between sleeps. I have been busy cleaning cupboards, drawers, washing and preparing for her arrival. I cannot have enough sleep at the minute, am I am taking full advantage of being able to sleep when I feel like it, as that is not going to last long! I am getting stupidly excited and nervous. It is finally going to happen, I AM GOING TO BE A MUMMY!!!!

I keep having a inkling to scrap, so may try and knock out a layout before she is due. But I am super gutted as I got my last bonus at work and it was going to be spent on stash, but low and behold something went wrong..............................my hoover died!!!!! So no stash for me, just a hoover, but I guess it is something that I do need. I am flipping out that I cannot hoover today.

I have plans to see my Nana this week, maybe a girlie cinema trip with tea out, and my friend from work is coming to see me later, as I have a parcel there, YAY!!!! I am hoping it is my new idea book that I ordered from Amazon.

Right I really must dash, just wanted to keep you all informed that all is good and I am one ready Mummy to be..................bring it on!!!!

The good, the bad and the ugly!

Hello all,

I best start with all things good and then end on a slightly sour note I am afraid!

I want to wish my gorgeous Sister Elise a very happy belated 21st birthday! We enjoyed a fab night out on Friday and even though I did not drink or stay out long, it was such fun to be with her! The theme was 'gangsters' and boy did everyone look good! I didnt get dressed up, I am far too huge for that, so I played the 'mob muma'

Right and now for the more serious note, I had an appointment at the midwife's yesterday and the good news is that the baby is the right way and I am 1/5 engaged.......woo hoo! I have been having period like pains and lots of cramping so I believe she is on her way!

The bad news is that I have raised blood pressure, protein in my urine and after some blood tests they believe I have pre-eclampsia. I am going to be very closely monitored with appointments of Wed, Sat and one with the consultant doctor on Monday. I am expecting to be put on bed rest so it looks like I will finish work early as I am not due to finish work until Friday, but of course mine and the baby's health is the most important thing!

Right so with that bombshell, I am off to have a relaxing soak in the bath and an early night. I will try and return emails asap but I dont expect to be online much in the next few weeks. Wish me lots of luck guys and please keep in touch! I will try and keep you all updated and I dont want anyone to worry! I dont 'do ill', so I know I am going to be just fine!

Finally here!!!!

Hello all at last!

Well I am guessing that you will all be expecting a super full update, but the truth is I just don't really have the time to blog at the moment. I have been slack on checking out my girls bloggies, I have not been bummed to update mine, I have not scrapped for oh soooooo long, nor have I brought any stash. I have stepped down from the DT over at scrapmojo, left my team on UKS, I have given up on scrapping completely for the moment, even my beloved issues of CK are sat unread, just flicked through on my desk since March! I am shocked with myself, but this pregnancy has seriously changed me. All I want to do is sleep or lol about doing nothing. I am still working full time, trying to keep a home, sort out the nursery and get myself prepared for a huge event in my life. I am trying to sort out money matters and other stuff and everyday seems to roll into the other. My weekends end so fast and I don't seem to have enough time at all, but funny enough I don't mind this. I like being busy, I feel I have a purpose now..........................I am going to be a mummy in around 5 weeks. I cannot believe how slow it is going yet also cannot believe how fast it is coming around! Crazy huh, but I cannot decide if time is flying or slowing down for us!

As for the nursery, we are getting there. The walls have been painted, the furniture has been put up, just the cot to go. I need to get it cleared out so I can give it another clean, hoover and tidy up and get everything in place. I am waiting for the curtains to arrive, somemore bedding and a few other bits. We have the blind to buy and get up and find a nice blanket box for her bedding to go. I have washed all her 0-3 mths clothes and ironed them all, but have noticed that I have run out of room, surprise surprise!!!

So I am 35 weeks pregnant tomorrow and now I am getting really excited. The baby's hospital bag is packed and mine is just about done. I am almost prepared to go ahead with this birth thingy, and I am still not scared or nervous, just excited in a weird way. I just want to meet our little miss. I am a crazy forgetful, emotional wreak at the moment, but I guess it is to be expected. I cry at silly things and lock up at work, post my keys as I am not in the next day but then realise I have left my bag inside with my house keys in and Steve doesn't have his!! I am losing the plot for sure and have to check things 3-4 times, it is like I have OCD!!! I hope this side effect does not last.

I leave work in just over 3 weeks and I cannot wait. All being well I should have around 2 weeks before she is due to get all the cleaning done and meals prepared. I am going to have a big cook-off and get some nutritious food frozen for my dinners, as Steve is going to wait till I am totally knackered till he has sometime off work. Steve's mum did say she would come down for a week and do all the housework and cooking for me but I think I would like this treat spread out over a few weeks, ie once or twice a week instead. That way I get a break for a few weeks and not just one!

Now I want to thank all my lovely readers for staying with me, I find it so sweet and those of you that are wanting my addy, I am onto that. I cannot believe that people I don't know personally want to send me little gifts and cards, that amazes me. I would love to be able to buy you all something to say thanks, but that is not an option so I have decided to get a RAK up and running in the next few weeks. I am not sure when it will be, but I will get it sorted to say thanks to all you sweet sweet girlies, I love ya!!!

I am not sure if I will get the chance to update before I have the baby and then when I will be able to keep my eyes open long enough to blog but I am coming back that is for sure. I am going to have a bit of a sort out, get myself a new header and re-invent my blog a bit. You know, new mummy, new me kinda thing! So keep an eye out for that. I will however reply to any emails ect I get but I may be a bit slow. You can email me by clicking on my blog profile and it gives you an option. I will be checking blogs today and will carry on checking them but will not always leave comments, but I have not forgot about you!

Computer down....................

I am writing this from Steve's Mums, our computer is down, I think it has died and gone to heaven!! It sounds like it is gonna boot up, then does nothing!!! I am not sure how long I will be away for, as money is pretty tight at the moment and we still need stuff for the baby. I can tell you that it will not be too long as I cannot live without internet!! So please forgive my absence for the time being, I do want to pop over and say hello but time is tight!

I am fine, so is baby, only about 8 weeks to go! I am starting to get really bad cramps and Braxton hicks, so baby is preparing herself to make an appearance, yay! We are getting so excited!!! I still have the nursery to do, get the pram, wash the rest of her clothes and bedding, find time to chill out and relax, clean, cook, work full time etc! No rest for the wicked!!

I just want to thank Ruth for her sweet email to Julie over at Inspirational, who featured me on the blog, cool beans eh!! Go and check it out!

Right I have to dash, I have a few important emails to send, ends to tie up and a bank balance to check.............................fingers crossed I am not overdrawn!!

Here is the full pic of my Mojo layout that I showed the sneak of last post. I have been doing a little scrapping but I have not got around to getting pictures yet........................all in good time!! I have nothing really to report, I have been busy with work so nothing fun has been done.
I have spent today nipping to my Mum's to pick up the tumble dryer, then I have moved the computer desk, well Steve did, cleaned up and washed and dried ours and some of the baby's clothes. All mundane jobs really............I think that I am going to grab a ice lolly now and sit and read my book and prepare myself for another working week. I am really starting to feel the heat, weight and strain(my back kills me) of this pregnancy and the warmer weather is making me more tired. But I am getting through and I really don't care as I am going to have one beautiful little girl at the end of it all.

Well I will try and do the blog round today, but if I don't get to you I will say hello at some point next week. You guys really made me smile, leaving all those cute comments about my bump. I feel like a fat sweaty pig at the moment, so they were welcomed with open arms. Well I am 29 weeks pregnant tomorrow and only going to get bigger so I may of well just grin and bear it !!

The one about the fat mama belly............

So here it is my fat mama belly. I have really gone from nothing to huge all of a sudden and each day I seem to be getting bigger.

I took this this morning before I spend a lovely day with my Mum, Auntie Lin and my Cousin Lucy. We did a spot of shopping, had lunch and spent the afternoon in the pub gossiping. I of course was drinking coke!! Mum and Lin both brought little Miss a cute little pressy and I must admit I have spent a small fortune on her today too, oh well she is so worth it.

EEK I am not 28 weeks and 4 days, I am 27 weeks and 4 days! God as if I got that wrong!!!!

We are going to buy the carpet for the nursery next weekend and get it decorated very soon as I am sick of having to store all her clothes in storage boxes. I want to get them all washed and hung up ready for her arrival.

I am just waiting for the tumble dryer from my Nana and Grandad to come then I can start washing them all. I have been without a dryer for about a year now when mine died in a blaze of glory!! We have managed without but babies clothes need to be super soft and I just cannot do that without!

Mum and I went out to buy my pram today but we ended up coming home empty handed. The saleswoman was such a b*&ch who obviously knew it all. So we walked out and are going somethere else. I could not believe how rude she was! Oh well it is her till that will be without a sale, I will go somewhere where I am treated with respect. God she wound me up!!!!

Nothing else really to report, I have been away from my scrapping room only to venture in there to knock out the next mojo challenge, so here is a sneak.

I hope you all have a fab weekend, I plan to stick my feet up and read a book or two and do not a lot else. I have had Thursday and today off work for a bit of chill time but as always I have not stopped. We just need to nip to the market tomorrow for some Mince beef, fruit and veg then we have nothing else planned..........................sounds like bliss.

Scrappage..................yay!

So, I was supposed to be going away this weekend. As I am here updating my blog.................guess what we didn't make it! For several reasons we decided no to go. We didn't really lose any money as it was one of those £9.50 each Sun holidays from the paper, but to be honest we could afford to go.

Steve has just been off work for 4 weeks due to the work contract finishing and considering the baby is due in about 14 weeks(eek!!) and we still have so much to get, we stayed at home. The good news is that Steve had a interview for a fork-lift driver/warehouse man on Friday and he got the job and starts Monday! He has taken a drop in pay but at least the job is permanent. So no more contracts, no more stress coming out of work, regular money and no more tax returns(gutted!!) He is on the books so gets holiday pay and everything, yay! I am so happy. Of course the pay drop will hurt but this job will be so much better for us in the long term and I may just get to be a stay at home mummy, something I am so passionate about!

So as promised, here is a little scrappage for you. I have not been scrapping half as much as I would like to but I have been concentrating on other areas of my life. Oh and the lack of 'mojo' makes my scrapping room a no go area!

So today I have a mountain of ironing to do. I have been putting it off for so long, but I am now just about out of clothes that fit me, so it is time to tackle it! I have been saying this all week, but it will happen today. I have done all the washing, so just one more load to finish drying then I will crack on. The thing with ironing is that once I start I dont really mind doing it, it is just getting started.

I may go and play with some stash today, I feel like scrapping for a change. I dont know if I will get anything done. I normally feel like it, go and play then just leave with nothing created, I guess that is just aprt of my process.

Well thank you all for the patience on the blogging. I am trying to keep with with checking blogs and will try and keep mine updated more.

Hello,

Now it seems as though I have been absent from the world of blogging for sometime now. I must admit I have kinda missed catching up on my fave blogs and I do have some work to do to get back up to date, but all in good time I think..........................I am trying to relax a little.

I have finally got around to playing with a few of my pictures and are ready to share some, to keep this post brighter! This was taken on my 26th Birthday and I have not got around to sharing it. It was the only half decent one I got!
My gorgeous birdie mirror I got last year and have been meaning to share forever!
My yummy BD pressy from Steve's parents................just one of many may I add. I also got a dress, shoes and some other bits! Yay!!!

I have been really busy of late, trying to sort though all the boxes we never unpacked, tiding up, throwing stuff out, trying to store other bits, I swear it is never ending. I just want to get prepared before I get too big to move my fat pregnant butt around.

We have brought the nursery furniture, loads of bedding, and clothes in my absence. Little Missy is sure going to be a spoilt lady. I have the end of May off for decorating and we need to buy a new carpet for her too. I am going to do the walls pale pink and cream and the woodwork duck egg blue. I am sooooo excited to get started.

My emotions are starting to get to me, I have a real bad attitude at the moment, then I am all slushy. I hate everyone, then love the world. I have also began to get really stressed out and frustrated with things and it makes me cry. I was so upset the other day as I lost my 1st scan pictures and couldn't find then anywhere.............I am still looking. Then I was a emotional wreak when the dog would not go out for a wee on Sunday, I was sobbing like a baby in Steve's arms. He is being fab and just rolling with my crazy-ass-ness, I so love him for that.

I am finding it harder to get comfy in bed now my bump is growing, I still look like a big fat heffer though. I am just wishing to get bigger so I look pregnant and not just fat! I have started to put on a bit of weight now too, but I don't care as long as the baby is doing well in there. I am just so hungry all the time. I try to stick to yogurts and fruit but when you want chocolate, salty stuff and crisps it doesn't always play out as planned I cannot believe how active she is, she moves all the time. Steve cannot feel her on the outside yet, but knows when she is up to stuff as I sit there with a slushy look on my face. I cannot wait till he can feel her.

Not much done on the scrapping scene, just a few layouts done. I have been trying to concentrate on getting my room organised for Steve to come and join me. You see I will have to share my room with him and all his stuff once the nursery is done.....boo hoo! But here is a sneak for the next mojo challenge which is gonna be a good one girls!

Right then I must stop rabbiting on now and catch up in the world of blogger and try and get some scrapping done. I have loads of new stash just sat there, courtesy of my Mums BD pressy. (Thanks Mum x)

As promised here is our beautiful little Miss Emily Grace, well at least that is what we believe we are going to call her. We have had this name in mind for many years now, so it only seems right. It kinda suits her anyway.

Okay so first I want to say a BIG thank you for all the lovely comments and emails wishing me a lovely birthday. I would of loved to reply to you all, but I am lost for time at the moment. You know who you are and you are lovely! Thank you.

Also I want to say that I will be blog checking later this week, so if I dont make the rounds tonight. I have not forgot about you. I am trying to have a bit of chill time as I am tired and need a rest.

Oh and I also guess that you are wanting to know how the scan went...................
Well baby is well, all normal and healthy with everything as it should be. Which of course makes me and steve both very happy. And also if you want to know we had a 99% positive sighting of the baby's bits and it is a...........................................................GIRL!!!

I am of course thilled to bits and Steve although a little gutted for about 3 seconds is also over the moon. Now I can see a very spoilt little lady coming into the world.

I will update soon with the photo's of out little miss and some scrap goodness too.

Sunday update!

Hello all,

Just a quick update today. I am busy clearing and tiding the spare room to be nursery. We are going to decorate it at the end of May so I like to get prepared in advance.

I just wanted to let you know that I proberly will not be updating again till around the 15th-17th April. I have my Sis to go and see as she has just moved house and my mum and dad need a visit too.It is my birthday weekend next weekend, even though my birthday is not till the Monday offically, then on the 15th we have the scan, yay!!! Then I am having lunch with my girl Christine on the 16th, so I am a busy bee!!! Oh and in this time I have to work full time, clean, wash, iron and scrap if I get the time. I dont normally mind being busy but I have been so tired of late. They say that in the second trimester you bloom and have all your energy back.....pah!!!! I have dry skin and want to sleep all day!

I had a lovely night on Tuesday, my girl Christine came around as Steve was at 'geek' club. I have not seen her in a while, so it was nice to catch up. She is soooo excited about the baby and has even offered to babysit! I may have to take up that offer sometime. There are not many people who I would trust but She is one of the few!

Here is my Mojo layout, the new challenge went live on the 5th so check it out. I have even been a good girl and sorted the next one out weeks early. I just know that I am gonna be super busy.

While I have been cleaning and sorting stuff in the spare room, I decided to get all the baby bits we have been brought so far and the bits we have got out of the bags and into a storage box. I dont want them getting dusty, even though I am going to wash them all when the furniture is in.
Check out those cute duckie slippers, I got them on friday at shopping. They are soooo small.

So I thought I would just do a quick update.

I have been scrapping today and have a few layouts to share but cannot be bummed to take photo's. I am feeling very lazy today, but nothing new for a Sunday for me! I do the washing and that is about it after a quick clean up in the morning.I am happy as my washing is outside on the line for a change and smells all fresh like only outside drying achieves, yay! Spring is on the way!!! I just need Steve to put up my new washing line and I am away.

There are soooooo many thing I want at the moment including baby things. I am loving this nursery range. Thanks God they do it for a boy or girl. I am looking on ebay for vintage hankies and tablecloths as I just love this idea for the curtains with a blackout blind. I think this and this are too cute but just wish I could knit to save me money! I also think that we are going to get this nursery furniture I am soooo excited to go and spend on the baby. We are going to go to York in a few weeks shopping for the baby and my birthday. I think I will be in heaven as laura Ashley and Mama's and Papa's are next-door but one to each other! Yay!!

Happy Easter and other random tit-bits.......................

First I want to wish you all a happy Easter. I have worked today and have tomorrow morning to do but then I am off till Wednesday which is good, a mini break is always good for the soul! What are your plan's? I am doing nothing at all, maybe a little washing of clothes, ironing and scrapbooking but nothing big.

I am hoping a little stash parcel will arrive tomorrow, as I have ordered a few sheets of the new JB paper, a few embellies some hambly angel wings rub on's. I hate waiting, I am still waiting for some early term maternity jeans to come. My jeans are getting tight now around the stomach area, still okay in the waist but they are starting to get uncomfortable. I have to undo the zip in the afternoon!

We are saving money for the car tax, stuff we need for the house, our weekend away in May and buying things for the baby. I have brought a breast pump, some bottles and a steriliser, so Steve can feed if he wants and I will get a rest at the weekends. I don't want to buy any clothes or other bits yet as I am waiting for the sex reveal. Only 25 more days!!!!!

So the new challenge is up over at Mojo. Here is my DT layout, I showed the sneak last post. I hope you guys are popping on over to check out the challenge and playing along. I took this photo of my sweet sweet puffmins a while ago when I brought him a new girlie collar, his sister has a pink one that is the same. He is always rolling about on the floor to catch my attention, bless him. I say he is doing his 'cute'sies.
After over 7 years with my boy, I am shocked at the amount of photo's we don't have of us together. I think I personally have about 3. I am sooooo shocked, but when we take them they end up like this!
Not always the best, so I have decided to treat myself to a tripod and a remote for my camera. I have been wanting them for yonks, when I first brought my D50 I was going to get them, but I never got around to doing it. So when I get paid next month or if I get some Birthday money I am off!!!

Speaking of my boy, his Bro Rob has gone away to Marseille with his Mum and his Girlie Marie to see his Dad, so Steve has his computer for a weeks. Great for him, not so good for me as I will be ignored until it goes back. Steve gets so lost in the computer world, it amazes me! I guess I will have to amuse myself this weekend!

Rain, rain go away...............................

So the weather here has been nothing but dark sky's and rain! It doesnt really make one smile. I wanted a sunny weekend, as I wanted to do some gardening. Oh well maybe next weekend.
I had my Nephew on Friday, and as always he was good as gold. I had to try and get ready while he and Steve was playing 'Power Rangers' in my bedroom. They was beating up the 'pillow bosses' I couldnt stop laughing at them. Reiley was doing some right faces and actions, I wish I had a camcorder!!!

So here is my new pretty, Steve saw it in Tesco and grabbed it the day before Mothers day. I just guessed it was for his Mum, but he wanted to buy it for me, yay! Those plants are doing well in my house, I normally kill plants in the first week. Im not very green fingered but I do try!! One of the layouts I have been working on, there are more but with the weather of late, my photo taking is naff!!
Oh and my sneak for the next mojo challenge!!

Life is a bit crazy.............................I have been super busy at work and home. We had an earthquake on Wednesday morning which scared the crap outta me! I was convinced it was a ghost and I was moving out the next day. It is a rare thing here, especially that strong!

I need a good stash shop......................I want some new embellies and paper.

I need a break............................I am still tired.

I want my second scan like crazy.......................I want to know the sex of our baby

A little bit of scrappage!

Just a short update really. I just wanted to say hello, make sure everyone is okay and show you a bit of my 7Gypsies ATC revolver holder. I am seriously lacking mojo in the larger size department so these mini ATC size layouts are just perfect for me!

I am hoping that my new March issue of CK and my Ali Edwards Life Artist book will give me a boost to create something, well I do have a mojo layout to get done very soon! So fingers crossed they work.

I am lots better this week, I have only been sick 3 times and I am not as tired. Yay!!! I may stay up after 9pm for a change!!!

I have had a lovely day doing a bit of shopping and visiting family, sharing the good news and the scan pictures. I brought myself some treats from the Body Shop, some yummo satsuma shower gel and body lotion and two create your own scent perfumes. I like to smell different, so these are ideal and not too expensive. I brought a Zestini and Rougeberry today and next week I am going to get two others so I can mix and match! I got a free gift too!! I also went to TK Maxx and got me a vintage bird cage, boy is it cute! I will get pics of it for my next post! I love it sooooo!

I really dont have much to share with you this post!
All is well, I think my energy is returning as I was up this morning early and have heaps loads planned to do! Still a little sick, but nothing major!

I have done the blog rounds...............Just need to tackle the ironing, some more washing and cleaning the bedroom. Then I plan to do a bit of gardening and then scrap! I ordered a load of photo's online as my printer needs new ink, so I have loads to play with! Shame I dont have any new stash................oh I have 3 pizza boxes filled with stash from crimbo and Jan I have not touched, bad girl!

Egg makes his or her debut on blogger!!!!

Egg is 12 weeks and 1 day and I am due on the 25th August. I still cannot believe that I am pregnant, but I am sure I will soon! I am totally amazed, Egg was moving around and waving. It was so cute!!

Spring seems to have sprung...........................early!

I know it is a bit early for spring but the last few days have been lovely, today especially today. Today has been such a lovely day, the sun has been shining, the air warm filled with a spring scent.
I have taken full advantage of the weather and been shopping, brought a few tops and some cute shoes. I have been home opened all the windows and doors to get some fresh air in. I have baked a cake and cooked a fish pie for tomorrow's tea. I have washed clothes, cleaned up, hoovered, polished, scrubbed and now I have a clean and tidy house!

My cold has gone and the morning sickness has died down a lot, I only seem to be sick once a day now normally between 5-7pm for some reason?!!? So at least I can go to work without locking myself in the bathroom all day! I have even managed to scrap for myself! I only got 2 layouts done but I am happy that I have finally done something! Sorry the pic's are crappy!! Cheeky
Now

I had a lovely day out yesterday with my Mum and Auntie Linpops. We did a bit of shopping and then we had lunch. It was nice to have a day off mid week. Something I could get used to! I even brought myself some flowers as Steve often forgets these things.....hint hint!!

Here is the most cutest ever plate and eggcup! I saw them yesterday while out with my Mum and really made a few that I wanted them..................well Easter is coming up and so is my birthday! I nipped into my Mum's work today and guess what..............She got me them this morning! I was sooooo chuffed! It is funny really as I have named my bump Egg so Mum has put me in her phone as Free Range!!!
And here are my cute new shoes! Yes I know they have a heel, but if Jennifer Lopez can wear 6 inch heels while pregnant then so can I!!!
So that is my happy update done, I will check blogs tomorrow as I need to go and find me some jeans online as I cannot find any in town!

This photo was taken on Saturday at work!

I was so ill, I had a customer walk into the showroom while I was hunched over the toilet making some very strange noises! Then he left and came back about 15 mins later. He found it funny, that I was so ill! He thought I had been out drinking and had a monster hangover. I didnt have the heart to tell the stupid t*&t I was pregnant! I bet he would of just thought it was an excuse!!

But the good news is that since that Saturday I have not been sick, I am heading to my 12th week now so hopefully it is going to go away! The scan is next Monday so I am starting to get really excited!!

The bad news is that now Steve has passed his cold on to me and I have been laid up for 2 days! Just when I thought things were looking up! Oh well I do feel a bit better today! But I have stayed off work just to rest and make sure I am 100%.

I will share some scrap-goodness next post, I just need to scrap something!!!

Weekend fun babysitting!

Well I have just had sloppy baby kisses goodbye from my darling Ra. He stayed last night as his Mum and Dad was moving house and I wanted to help lighten the load. Pretty nice of me considering how ill I have been.

I cannot believe that I will be a mummy soon, it is totally crazy! I have my first appointment at the hospital on Tuesday for my booking appointment and then I will get the date for my 12 week scan. I just cannot wait to see my baby on the screen and know that he or she is okay! I think then I will be able to relax a bit and start getting excited well more excited!

I managed to have a big clean up today. Since I have been plagued with the morning sickness I have totally let the house get a little out of sorts. Steve has been doing his bit but it is never the same. He just doesn't clean to my standards, bless him. So while I was cleaning, Steve and Ra was making more mess with the planes and then they decided to play dens. It was so sweet watching them and I even had to take 5 from dusting and get some pics. Even the cats and Dog was in the den with them! It was fab as I had no one under my feet for a change!

I have actually done a layout today that has been done just for me, yay! I have only been doing my DT work of late but I am not feeling too bad today and decided to get something done! I will share on my next post. Speaking of scrapping dont forget to check out the next scrapmojo challenge. It is being posted today and we have a fab guest designer, man she rocks it's Rachel Denbow!!

Steve is just making pasta with plum tomatoes, garlic and spinach for me, yummy. I do have him well trained dont I!

Just a quick one!

Well I have been stuck down with the dreaded morning (Ha Ha) 24/7 sickness and seem to be having a good 1/2 hour so I decided to do a quick post!

Considering I have felt like crap all week, I have had a lovely weekend. Steve and I had a date on Friday night. He took me to the Indian for a meal as I have fancied one all week. We had such a good time, we couldnt stop laughing. We havent done this for ages and it made me so happy, I love my boy! Yesterday we spent our crimbo money. I got some Midnight Fantasy perfume, some make up and some stash yay!

Today I have been chilling on the sette, I have the following movie to watch
Here is a little sneak of the next challenge on Scrapmojo. I havent scrapped for ages but this one just kinda fell together........I like those ones!

Right then, I am off. The sickness is starting to come back and I need to lay down! Any excuse eh..........If anyone has any tips for the sickness please share! I guess I am kinda lucky as I am not actually being sick, just feeling it! Sorry for the graphic details!!!

Well I will start by wishing all my friends, a very happy new year and I hope you all had soooo much fun over the festive season. I know I did! I have spend 2 very chilled, well lazy weeks at home with my boy and I have loved it. All I seem to have done is watch TV and wash clothes! I have hardly scrapped even though I have a huge pile of pics on my desk, a butt load of new stash and a 7Gypsies ATC revolving holder which I am gagging to play with. It seems that in all the excitement my mojo has gone off to party and left me here alone!!!

I must admit I am not too happy about being back at work, but I guess everyone is feeling those Jan blues. I am always soooooo bad when I have had time off, you would think that I would be all refreshed and ready to go, but I never am. Hopefully this sinking feeling will not last too long.

In order to try and get more time to blog, I have decided to join bloglines. I know a few of you swear by this and I signed up yonks ago but never got around to sorting it out. I can spend hours searching everyones blogs, sometimes to find no new posts have been made, so Bloglines will save me time and I can just check blogs as people post....................cool eh! I am going to try and update at least once a week!!

I have had my pregnancy confirmed by the doctor's and have my first appointment with the Midwife is on Monday. I am guessing this will just be a general check up and hopefully I will recieve my 12 week scan date. I have been lucky to date, no sickness or ill feeling. Just very sore boobs and a bit of bloating! My Mum and Sis suffered really bad sickness from day one so I am just enjoying feeling normal. I am sure it will hit me soon!

We have decided not to buy anything until we know everything is okay after the first scan, so I am going to cram as much scrapping stuff as my card will allow in the next few weeks. I have just been virtual spending and filled a few baskets full of yummy stuff ready for pay day. Does anyone have a new fave product or paper range they love. I would love some ideas!

Well I think that is me updated, I just want to thank everyone one who has sent congrats and love it means so much to me.......seriously! I am now off to enjoy the rest of my 7 year anniversary with my boy. I cannot believe we have been together so long...............maybe we may get married one day...................I doubt it though!!!! It is just something we are not too bothered about yet.

Well I do really. I know it is still very early. I am about 6 weeks gone, but if I do not tell I will blow. We are sooooo excited and happy I just couldnt keep it a secret any longer!
After nearly 2 years of 'unprotected you know what' it has finally happened naturally!
So the fags have gone, the party shoes have been hung up for now and I am going to concentrate on keeping myself healthy.
I will do a proper update at some point this week.

Well the wanderer returns..................

Okay okay I know I am bad, I will not try and hide it!! I am a bad blogger and have been for some time. I know you must all get sick of me saying it and promising to try harder and not leave it so long before I post again. So I have decided to take a little blog break. I plan to get back into the swing of things after Christmas and if I post before then, I guess it will be a bonus!

It looks like those shoes are far from being on my feet.................I still have 6lbs to go and it just will not shift. I have not been exercising lately and cannot find the motivation............it is driving me mad. So I have decided to leave it now till after crimbo and then get my running shoes out and start running again. I am happy with the fact that I have lost 22lbs and have kept it off and I dont want to pressure myself too much.

Well I have been up to my party tricks of late, wooo hooo. I was out last week with my best girl Christine and a few lasses who I went to school with and I am partying again this week! I have decided to share a few pic's of the evidence of my drunken behaviour. Well a while ago I went for lunch with my Mum and we ended up having one of those liquid one's that turn into pulling an all-nighter. I left Mum at about 10pm after a good 7 hours of drinking and went clubbing with my mate Simon. We ended up in Flare's where you have to do the dirty (have a smoke) in the beer garden. I was f%*king about and managed to break the guttering off the wall. I took this pic last week and couldnt believe they had not mended it yet....................shocking!!!!!!!

It's (nearly) all about the scrappage baby!!!

Hello all,

Now it seems like such a long time since I last posted and I know you must all get sick of me saying sorry, but I really am. So I decided to treat you all to some scrappage. For some reason I have not been doing much lately, I do my DT stuff and then end up missing out on doing what I want to do, not that I am complaining. I love being on the DT sooooooo much and we have some fab challenges lined up so don't forget to stop by and have a bash at them.

Now as for stuff about me, well I have turned into a party animal and want to play all the time of late! I was out the other week, then the week before last I had a few days off and on the Friday innocently 'did lunch' with my mum and ended up staying out. It was a good night and Steve got sick of waiting for me to come home and joined us. Then the Sat me and Steve got tipsy again. It was then Bonfire night, so we partied again. Which leaves us up to last weekend. Ha!!! We had Steve's Bro Rob and girlfriend Marie around for drinkies. We had a fab night, they left and then Steve went to bed. I was finishing my drink and then My mum texts me to see if I had a nice night and She ended up coming to mine to play. She didn't end up leaving till about 7am!!! Shocking. So yesterday was very chilled out to say the least!

I do plan to stay in this weekend, as I am off out next weekend for a bit of a school reunion. I have met up with a few of the lasses I went to school with on Myspace and now we are going out! I am soooo excited as I have not seen some of them for about 8 and a half years, so that should be fun!

In my absence I have been.............................. Doing a little scrapping.......................

Here is a layout I did at the weekend. I had to use my DT pics. I couldn't wait to scrap them. I knocked out the Bam Pop to keep it fun and funky. Sorry about the bad pic guys! I have also been working on the next challenge for Scrapmojo and some other bits, but I will share them later.

Been a good girl.......................

I have lost another 4lbs since I last posted and today I have been extra good and managed to do some exercises today. I have been so crap at trying to bust a move of late and I really need to get back into the habit of doing them again.

On a spendaroonie....................

As you know Steve got his tax return. We had to pay £400 for the car and we saved £400. But the rest we totally blew, and boy was it fun. I got the most cutest mirror bird cage. It has a little shelf for tealights and two metal birds on the cage. It is totally adorable. I will get a pic for the next post. I also got a Laura Ashley cushion for my scrapping chair, a cute flower hook and two crimbo decorations. I got loads of new make-up, some clothes and the rest I spend on stash. I don't know if it is just me or do you get hardly anything stash wise for your money. I spend about £140 on it and don't seem to have much at all. I did buy me a album though and some page protectors which cost nearly £40. Buy hey-ho I have loads of new bits to play with and that's fun!!

Been babysitting again..................

I had the pleasure of having my nephew again not last but the weekend before. That boy totally cracks me up. Steve and Ra was getting ready and after they had brushed their teeth, Steve decided to do both of their hair. Hence the crazy do' he is sporting below!

Check out my design team pic, yep I made the DT over at scrapmojo. A new funky online challenge blog. You girlies must check it out. Marie the founder had this great idea that for our DT pic's we had to have glitter 'tashes like the got milk ad's, so I had soooo much fun trying to get my pics! I must of took a million and one photos after a million and two attempts of getting the glitter 'tash just right. I tried a paper one, a glitter glue one and several other ideas but in the end it was good old loose glitter and lip balm that saved the day! I even added pp curls to add to the effect, so I think I do have mojo going on!!!!!! This is my DT pic! I cant wait to scrap them all!!!

I have been so busy at work. I am on my own as Michelle is sunning herself in Spain, so not only did I have to make bonus, I have had two peoples work to do and I am knackered! The good news is that I did make bonus, so that means more stash shopping.

We are still waiting for the tax return to come in but I have ordered some of the new Making memories Noteworthy collection and some other bits and i am going to treat myself tonight to some other bits.

I am back on track with the diet and losing weight again. I just need to add some exercise into the mix. I got into the skinny jeans I have not worn for about 2 years this week, so I was super pumped!!!!!!

I have been a bad bloggy friend of late, I know but I will try and update more and check everyones blogs at least once a week. I may get around to it tonight, or tomorrow if I get the chance.

Anywho, good news shared and now I must go and sort some tea out! Dont forget to come and join in the fun at scrapmojo, the design team is being revealed this week, so keep an eye out for lil old me!!!

A little scrap goodness, sneak peek, and really good news!

So I have some news to share, really good news....................Steve got his annual tax rebate today and he got £1400. Can you imagine how stupidly excited we are! I see a good shop coming on. It has come in good time really as I need a new coat and boots and the car needs its exhaust replacing before the MOT in Oct!
In other good news I have only put on a pound during my two weeks of naughtiness, so I was happy about that and I have some fab news to share very soon. It is scrap related! Sneak peek.................................

Lost my will to diet, gotta have 'f*&k me' shoes and the cake!

So long time no post eh! Now did you all miss me! I know I have missed checking every ones bloggies, I have been so lax of late, please forgive me. I will get on to it, just as soon as I can take a breather!
I have been up to my eyes in scrap stuff, one thing for a secret and another for my girl Susan. Now you must check that beautiful girl's blog and find out what the crack is. If you can help, please do as it is for such a good cause. I am making a mini 7Gypsies love album for her.

The diet has gone out of the window, down the street, onto the bus to the airport then onto a plane so far away I cannot find the will to carry on. It didnt even send me a postcard, which I thought was rude! I got weighed last weekend, put on 3lbs but I was fully clothed with my new knee high boots on, so I am guessing it was only really 1-2lbs and this week has gone no better for me, so I decided to have the rest of the week off, but not stuff my face. Get weighed on Sat as normal and get back on it with fresh eyes. I know i will of put on, but like I said before it is a way of life now and I will have stumbles!

As we are not far away from the jolly old time they call Christmas, I thought the Nigella in me should raise her sweet little head and get a cooking for the festive season. So last week I sweated away and made the family famous Crimbo cake! I think it is famous, because you can get drunk from the fumes of my little puppy. I make it well in advance and each week sprinkle some lovepuff rum over it to make it nice and moist. I swaer it will take a full bottle, but hey it is the season of good will! ROLL ON CRIMBO! A little dash of love and rum

Out of album space!!!!!!!!

I have been meaning to buy a new album for ages, but for some reason I hate buying them. I would much prefer to buy other stash than albums, but it now has happened that all mine are full and I have nowhere to put my pages! So until the weekend, they are hanging on my shelves. I must admit they look pretty cute, but as my room is so sunny, it will do them no good!! My cute shelves!
As you will of noticed, I have changed my banner. I can thank Marie for that one, as she has introduced me to the world of myspace and I felt that it needed a little fun adding to my profile, so I made a banner for it. I ended up making the banner into a layout, but to be honest I dont really like how the dimensional paste scrolls worked out, it looked cool in my head but didnt do what I wanted them to do on the page, oh well! I thought I would share though!

I have had a stack of pics on my scrapping desk, that I have wanted to scrap for ages and as I have had a few days off work. I finally got around to doing them. Here is one of my Nephew. The close up!

Since I have been off, I have been soooooo lazy. Okay the house is clean and tidy but other than that all I have wanted to do is lol around eating and sleeping. I dont expect miracles when I get weighed but the main thing is that I have got back on track today, so I have not completely lost it. I did my measurements at the weekend and I have lost a total of 6 1/2'' from my body which I think is damn cool! I cannot believe I have stuck to it for so long. I normally start then have a bad day or two and just quit, but I have realised that this is a thing I need to do for life. It is not just a diet its a new way of life for me and I will slip up every now and then, but as long as I get back on track all will be good!

Saturday night was so much fun. It was great to catch up with my old friend Christine and her fella Gaz. It is quite cool really as Gaz is in a up and coming band, so if they become really famous. I can say I know him, how cool is that!! Check out their myspace. We drunk so much it was shocking. Steve and Gaz were the first to flake, but me and Christine was still awake at 3am dancing to cheesy songs like Gimme Some and Steps 5,6,7,8!!!! Sad really! But it was a laugh!!!

Well I am back to work tomorrow, which I am not overly happy about, but if I want new stash etc I must go! I am only there for 3 days then it is the weekend and We are going out for the day to Lincoln. Steve and his Bro Rob are going to Lincoln Castle as there is knights and jousting going on and me and Rob's girlie marie are going to pound the pavements shopping for some pretties! I am super excited as I can stock up on Lush products and visit Laura Ashley for some vintage goodies! Yay!!!

Many people have asked who the guy candy was on my last post, well he is a British actor who has starred in The Business, Severence, Goodbye Charlie Bright, Outlaw and The football Factories to name a few! So now you know!!!

Thank you all for your kind words of encouragement about the weight loss, it means the world to me ladies and I love ya all for it!!!

Well I must finish up on here now and go and check my lovely girlie's blogs, while I have a space 10 mins, then I am off scrapping again after my tea I think!

I must be honest, there are not many people well boys who grab my heart strings and make me go all a flutter, other than my boy of course! The only other bloke to be able to do this for me is Mr Danny Dyer!!! I find him just sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hot!!! My Sis feels the same, so I am sure she will love this post!!! Serious, prob thinking about me!!! Wishful thinking, eh!

OMG...............Too cute!!!!! Sorry to offend anyone, but he makes smoking look sooo cool!!!!!!

Well enough of my drooling over him! Lets get back on to real life matters!!!

I HAVE DONE IT!!!!!! I HAVE FINALLY LOST OVER A STONE. Well one stone and one pound. Lucky me lost 3lbs this week. I am soooo pumped! Yay for me!!! I have kinda lost track of the exercise, I have been so lazy of late. But it is still coming off, so I will promise to try harder next week.

We have friends coming around tonight for drinky poo's and I am so excited. I have made strawb, apple and vodka ices, pina coladas and margarita's and we have loads of beer and vodka, so I guess we are going to have a good night! Just waiting for the England match to start, in a hour then we are going to get this party started. I am a bit scared I will get totally legless after 2 drinks as I have not drunk for a while! I will just have to take it slow and drink water inbetween drinks!

I will update again proberly next Mon or Tues with some scrapping bits. My camera is charging at the moment, so I cant take the photos!

The one about sewing!

I had a vision..................My vision was to buy some yummy material and knock out some quality sewing projects! The realisation, I am not a natural at sewing! I tired my hand at a cute baby dress, I gave up! I tried my hand again at a quilt with raw edges, I kept screwing it up and I have given up, but may go back to it! I just done 'get' sewing!

So back to the drawing board I went and decided to knock out a layout about my not so good sewing! Ha I will not be beaten, I will learn how to sew! Can anyone recommend any good books to help!

I had a little spend at the weekend and got me some more new stash including the book below. I am loving vintage altered projects at the moment, so I thought this would give me some good ideas! I brought some cute vintage type papers too!

On another note, I stayed the same weight wise this week. Not bad considering I was bad last weekend, had a pizza on Wed and did no exercises all last week and it was that time of the month again. So I was a happy little bee!

I wanted to do a special mention to Bex She was kind enough to give me a huge shout out on her blog as being an inspiration! She even borrowed one of my idea's and made it her own that turned out fab! WTG Bex, I love what you did with those wings girl!

Well that is me over and out for now! I must clean up, have tea and bathe before I sadly watch the final of Britains next top model! Louise to win-YAY!

Monday, a day to create yay!!!!

I love Bank Holidays, not only is it an extra day at the weekend which of course is great, but it is normally a day for me to create.
I have been holed up in my scraproom all day, except to have a bath, breakfast and dinner and to sort the washing. I have been busy working on a project I have had on my mind since I brought this cute little wooden birdhouse. Only now have I got around to playing with it! So here are so pics for you all. If you click on the picures, you can see them better. The pictures really do not show this project at its best. As you know I am crap at taking decent pictures of my creative bits. The lighting is never right, its a day that ends in a Y, it is windy........you know the excuses!!!

I brought some kilner jars and some fabric and a pattern yesterday, so I have a few other projects I want to get started on. I just have to wait for some of my weekend stash shop supplies to arrive. Then I can get started. I plan to cut my fabric tomorrow at work, where I have the use of my empty clean desk. Mine is a right mess at the moment. There is paper bits, ribbon, scraps, glue and paint all over my desk with endless thread, sequins and paper scraps littering the floor. Note to self: Take the hoover up and sort it out!!!

People keep commenting on my weight loss and how I am doing it. Well there is no secret or miracle pill I am taking. It is hard work. I am eating well, except Sat and Sun this week(The plot was lost!!!). I am exercising 3-4 times a week, and yes I have cut out the vodka. In the last 5 weeks I have drunk once. Normally it was every Friday, so I am sure that will help.

So that is me updated for now and I am off to check all my girlies blogs now.

scrappage, babysitting and a new do!!!

Hello all,

As promised here is an update. I managed to check all my girlies blogs, well I think I did if I missed you, please forgive me! I am a bad girl!!!

I have not had the time to take pictures of my layouts I have done this week, but here is one I did at the weekend. I some how spilt paint on the card and then decided to go mad with it. I am not sure if I like it but hey! Art is all about experimenting, right! It looks much better in real life.

The journalling reads, 43 hours at work a week means less time to create. I figured that because I spend so much time at work, I may of well document it. I bet I must of looked a right pansy taking a photo of the sign just before work. It is on a main road too!!
I had the lovely pleasure of babysitting, my little dude again at the weekend. He makes me sooooo happy. I just adore him so much. I had my hair cut and coloured at the weekend. I cannot remember the last time I had it done, so as a treat for losing weight and exercising, I got it done!

Does anyone else find it really hard to take photo's of themselves. I really struggle. I end up blinking before it is took, looking to the side or looking a total hag! I must invest in a tripod or something! Anyone got any ideas or tips to take better ones.

I am seriously considering doing a photography course, I have a fabby camera but cannot break away from auto! It seems like such a waste to me! I must go and research courses!

I am sorry I have not been around much of late. I dont know where my time is going. I have been busy putting on 2lbs which came out of nowhere, so I am gutted as I have been good with the food and the exercise. I have been doing a little scrapping here and there, but I have no time for a proper update or to visit my girlies blogs.

Hello all, well as the post's title says this post may be a little scary for you! I have done the latest All about Eve challenge which meant I had to scrap my butt! I took it to the extreme and was very brave and scrapped it nearly nude!! EEEKKK!!!! I dont mind posting it as it is getting smaller. I know it is as this week I have lost a whopping 7lbs, so that is 11lbs in 3 weeks and I am soooooo happy.

I treated myself to a butt load (excuse the pun) of stash, the new Autumn Leaves idea book and two new tops which are in a smaller size, hoooray!!! I also had a vodka sesh of friday and i must admit it will not be happening again for sometime as I felt so ill!!

Well the healthy fish pie, new pots and veg is calling me, so I am signing off for now!!!

Hello all, just a quick update for you all.

Hope all my lovely readers are okay and happy! I know I am.

The healthy eating plan and exercise is going well. I did put on 2lbs last week, but it was that time of the month and I was good, so I was not too fussed as I know it should come off this week. I have been off the booze for 2 weeks now and I am not off out this weekend, so no alcohol again. Yay!! I am beginning to feel so much better and I have so much more energy, so something is working!!!
I have just finished a workout and before that me and the dog went for a big walk, so I guess that is my quota for the day. I am having chicken stir fry for tea, then I plan to chill out, as the house is tidy and I have done the washing and ironing already and guess what I have even been to work, so I have been a busy little bee!!

Not much creative goings on at the moment, I did do a bit more to my happy things album and I also did a layout at the weekend, so I have that to show next post, but to keep you going here is two pic's!

I did a little stash shopping on Monday and tuesday so I have some love winging its way to me now which is all good and I hope to get it before the weekend, so I can play. I also subbed to CK, as my local newsagent no longer stocks it, which sucks!!!!

I am planning to buy some workout gear at the weekend, as I feel like running. I have all this energy which needs using up. I may also buy a pattern and some fabric and make a little soming as I am craving sewing of late!

Well I am going to dash, as I am off to make my tea then have a bath so I can chill for the rest of the night. I should update at the weekend, so cath you all then!

Hello all,
Well I must confess, today has been such a happy Saturday.
I have been to work without a hangover and got loads of work done including hitting our bonus! Yay!!! I have been out with my boy doing some healthy food shopping, I have done a little scrapping while listening to The Saturday Sessions CD which I brought today. I have got 2 new books to read, and oh yeah did I mention that after a week of healthy eating, exercise and no alcohol I have lost not one but SIX whole pounds, that is nearly half a stone and I am soooooooo happy!!!!!!! Here is one of the pages I did today.
Here is my happy album in full, I have also been working on the inside of this today, which I may finish off tomorrow if I don't read.

How are all your weekends going, has anyone got anything planned or have you been up to something today? I would love to know how you all spend your time.

I think we are going to the pictures next weekend, we was a little short of cash this week as I am going out on the tiles on Tuesday for my Sister Elise's 20th birthday. I think I may even stay off the old booze as I do have work the next morning.

I have been a little naughty today, I had a KFC for dinner and I am having a pizza for tea, but I will be good again tomorrow and I am going to exercise too. I figure that a treat day will keep me focused and on track. I am serious about losing weight and getting fit now. I have felt so good this week and it can only get better.

Well I must sign off, I am off to chill out with my boy now, if he ever finishes cleaning his fishes out!

Well hello all, I would like to thank you all for your patience with me, as getting some pics uploaded has taken me an age. But here they are and even a little scrap goodness I managed to do last night.

We still have so much to do, I need to paint the front and back room pale blue, I want to add a lick of paint to my scraproom and bedroom. I need to buy new curtains and blinds, get some more cushions and unpack the rest of the boxes that are scattered about the spare rooms and the bedroom. The list seems never ending and I am not sure when we will be able to afford to do everything, but at the moment I am just happy to be here. It already feels like home.

I am back on the healthy eating plan now I am kinda settled and am able to sort out my routine a little better. I am going to pencil in exercise days in my diary and set reminders on my phone to do then, so hopefully it will keep me motivated. I am going to cut back on the drink, and only indulge every other week and instead Steve and I are going to go for a meal or go to the pictures instead. He doesn't know this yet, but will do come Friday when I confess that I am not drinking this week. Gee I sound like a alcoholic!!!!

I am still a little slow to visit everyone's blogs, hopefully I will be able to do them all tonight, but if I don't I have not forgotten about you and will make it at some point this week.

Well I best get off, I want to have a bath and chill out tonight.

I sure missed you guys.....

Well it is done, I am officially moved. Okay so we still have a few things over at the old house that need sorting, but all the big stuff is here. There are a hundred boxes that need sorting, all the windows upstairs need cleaning, I need my scrapping room setting out, my sofa's do not come until tomorrow but I like it here very much and I think we are both going to be very happy.

I still have so much to do and I wish I had an extra few days off to get sorted but the weekend is nearly upon us and I hope to have everything done by Monday night at the latest. I hate living in such a mess.

I am sorry I have no pictures to share, but I have not been able to find my cable to upload them. I should be able to update over the weekend with them, if all goes to plan and I am not too busy.

The dog was fine with the move, we had no fish deaths and the cats are just staring to chill out. They was a bit scared, bless them. Nothing got broken and I did not get stressed. I would of lost about 7lbs, with all the running about, cleaning and stair climbs I did on Friday, Sat and Sun. But considering all we ate was crap from Thursday including a Indian, Chinese, Chippy and KFC, I doubt I have lost a bean. We didnt have the cooker plumbed in till Monday, but since then with have had chicken breast with steamed new pots and summer veg and shepherds pie with steamed veg. I love being off work, so I have the time to cook proper food. I have even done tonights tea, so I know we are going to be busy. Say hello to the new and improved domestic goddess!!!

I cannot believe how much I want to scrap. I have not done a thing for about 3 weeks and I miss it so much. I may buy a few new pretties this weekend to play with if Steve will put up my shelves and make up my desk when I get it on Saturday.

Well I must get off, I have to get to work now, oh joy!!!!

So I have only 2 more days till i get the keys to my new home!!! I am super excited now.

I have been buying a few new bits like bedding and I just need to get my sofa, some curtains, a kitchen bin(I have seen a darling pink enamel one) and a new scrapping desk!

I will be off-line from Sat till some point on Tuesday next week, so hopefully I will be able to share some pics and update how the move went. I cannot wait to get sorted now, I wanna scrap loads!!!

.........I'm moving!!!! I have been waiting to share all for ages, but I wanted to make sure all the details were sorted first!

I am sooooo excited! I get the keys on the 12th of July and we are moving in over that weekend. The van is booked, Sky TV and my internet company are sorted, water and council tax have been informed. I am just about ready. I can see a few late nights packing and cleaning, but hey I am sure it will be worth it!

Because I have been organised, I will only be without internet for 3 days, how cool is that! My scrapping stuff has slowly started being packed, so I doubt I will get anything done in the next few weeks. I will also be a bad blogger and I doubt I will get around to checking everyone's blogs, but please don't forget about me. I will be back.

The new house has 3 bedrooms, so I am getting my own scrap room, without having to share with my boy! I am soooo happy about that. I can decorate it all pink, if I want!! We are getting new carpets throughout and it has been freshly decorated for us.

Well that is my 10 mins allocated computer time, off to pack some stuff now and get this show on the road.

I will try and keep updated, but if not I will be back in about 2 weeks time!!!!

wow, I cannot believe that my blog is one year old today! I never thought that it would be something I stuck with. Normally I try new things and give up as I get bored. You see I have the attention span of a gnat, oh so true!!!
For me this blog has been more than a online diary, so much more. I never thought it would bring so many fantastic people into my life. Some right near me and others miles away. It has blown my mind really! What a invention, how I love the cyber world!!!

I want to take this opportunity to thank all my lovely readers, you know who you are. I love reading all your comments and well wishes, it makes me soooo happy. I will always check out all the blogs of the names left, except what I think is typepad as I cannot access it via a link or anything. So if you are on the old typepad, leave your blog name so I can stop by! I don't want to miss you out!

I have again been super busy and still have not scrapped at all really. I keep going upstairs to take a peek at my beloved stash, just so i don't forget. But here is a sneak peek of a project I am working on. It is one of those large 7G's portfolio files and I am going to fill it with all the things that make me happy, yay!!! Once I have some time, I will post some more pics.

All is well in the Dixon-Metcalf home. I am happy as a clam. I just wished I had some time to myself. The diet has gone A.W.O.L again, but hey that's just me!!! I did have some exercise on Friday while a little tipsy and it was soooo fun!!! Not what I guess you are thinking, but then I have a dirty mind!! Steve and I had a play game of boxing. I was totally wobbling, so we gave up and I gave the punch bag 'what for' instead. The next day all my right arm and waist was in agony! Those muscles have not been worked like that for an age! It kinda was nice pain as I knew it was a good thing. I had it in my mind that I was going to do this all the time, but that never happened! But tomorrow is another day kids!!!

I know I just need to get myself into a routine and then all will be good. I can get my head sorted and succeed! But until then i will keep trying until it clicks into place!

Well I must dash, I have an appointment! I will tell all soon. I just need to sort a few things out first!!!

Stash has arrived!!

Yay, my stash has arrived and I have been playing with it tonight. I am soooo happy to be creating again, it feels good! I will post a sneak peek soon as this is a work in progress kinda job, well it is a album and not just one layout, so I will post as and when.

The foof a life book rocks, not my usual style but I like to dabble at times and I do hold vintage close to my heart!! This book has so many cute projects in it, I was smiling all day at work.

So back to the real life...........................THE DIET/HEALTHY EATING HAS YET AGAIN BEGUN!!! I know if I keep trying it will come to me! I have been good for two days solid which is such an achievement for me! I normally go mad by day one and go back to my normal ways! I just need to start exercising again. I hate doing it, well I enjoy it once I start but hate starting. I can never be bummed!!! I get up, go to work for 9 hours, come home, tidy up, make tea and then all I want to do is chill! I know I could get up earlier and get it over and done with but I am sooooo not a morning person! I am such a bitch when I wake. Everything stresses me out! The cats drive me mad, the dog infuriates me and lets put it this way, Steve knows not to talk to me until I have had 10 mins to myself. I am such a pain in the ass. So morning exercise.......NO WAY!! I just need to find it in myself to do it once I get home from work!

When my Mama gets back from her hol's we are going back to fat club with my Sis! I am sure that will kick me up the ass! It includes an exercise sesh as well so hopefully that will keep me motivated!

Other news which is not so good is that I have just had to fork out £300 for a new clutch on the car! I don't know why my luck never lasts! We have some cool stuff turn up like Steve's job and then bad stuff comes along. I don't know why this happens to us all the time! I am a nice person honest, okay so I may of been known to squish a few bugs but nothing major lurking in my cupboard! I may be suffering for a previous life or something! Oh well It is done now and there is jack I can do about it!

Yay bonus at work is in the back and we are now forward ordering for next month!! WOO HOO more money for me!

Well I have been on a little shopping spree today. I have not brought loads just a few bits to keep me going...... JB Tickets........Love them!!!

I don't really have anything to report, work is going well except we got broken into again on Thursday night. They took nothing but left the place in such a mess, broken glass everywhere!!! I was a little scared as I am on my own as my boss is in Spain at the moment!!!! I have nearly done our monthly target, only about £5k to go which is good as I need the extra money because our settee has had it and we need a new one!! YAY!!!

Steve's job is going well. He is missing not working with his Bro, but at least he is working and it is permanent!!!

Well I am off to check all my girlies blogs now then jump into the bath for a bit of relaxation. Hopefully I amy get some scrapping done over the next week so I have something to share with you all.

So here are the finished layouts. The lighting is still all wrong but hey!!!! I had to do another layout with my fave pic, I wanted a softer appoach to it and i think I did it.
Here is a pic from our day out, the other weekend. I am loving those Heidi swapp stickers at the moment. I soooo need some more and some new papers, an album, some stamps etc. Okay so I need a whole lot of stuff.

I wanted to say thanks to Lucy, She sent me a fab parcel full of felt, ribbon and embellies which I love. She is such a star!!!!

I have nothing much to report really. I am still busy. I want to scrap but cannot find any pics I want to use. I left early from work with the idea of scrapping. I have idea's of what I wanted to do, but the pic's some how dont seem to fit. So I am going to leave it for now and do a bit of cleaning when I get of here.

YAY!!!! I have some fab-u news to share with you all!!! I am sooooooo happy.
After years of waiting for it happen, Steve has finally blagged a real job!!! Okay I know his job was for real before but this one is permanent and for a big company. He is on good money too, which helps. I am just hoping it works out for us!!
I am soooo happy for us, we can finally start getting our lifes back on track and thinking of the future. It is about time we got some good luck come our way!!!! So here is what I did with that pic, I Bam Popped it up to the max!!! I really like the way it turned out too! It is the first time I have ever used red bazzill for the background, shocking eh!!
I am planning to do another layout with his pic as I lurve it sooo much.

Well I gotta dash, I need to get ready as my sis is picking me up in about 2 hours and I need to get ready. I have a feeling today is going to be a warm one!

Hello all!!!

Well I have been real busy! I don't seem to have a spare moment to myself of late and to be honest I am not sure why. I know I am super duper tired though. I was bobbing off last night while watching TV at about 7pm, I was even sat up!!! Normally if get comfy on the sofa, that is it I bob, so I have to sit up to wake me, but not last night!! I did manage to stay up until I watched deadliest catch. I love that program heaps!!!

I have not had the time to scrap, which I hate, but I have been working on my Doodlebug house I got a while back. It should be done by the weekend, so I can share! I do hope to knock out a few layouts too!

I was playing with my camera at work the other day, to try and get some good pic's of me to scrap. I took about 30 and only came up with this one which I love! I don't know why I like it, I just do!! I have not been about much on the computer lately either, which is big for me, as I spend most of my time on here. I just don't know where the time is going!!!

I am looking forward to the weekend. My Mama, Sis and I are doing lunch on Sunday, which is fab as we really don't see each other enough really. We all have busy lives and often forget each other. But I decided we should make more of an effort to see each other so we plan to do lunch every couple of weeks.

We all have been moaning about our weight of late, I guess it is because summer is coming along, believe it or not and that always gets people. I think we are planning to go to a slimming club and do it together. I find with a bit of healthy competition and support, I do much better. Also we would always see each other once a week with is great. The only problem I have is that when Steve comes out of work, money drops and I cannot afford to keep going, but I guess if I am serious about losing my flabbles, I could put a bit away each week when he is earning.

I know my downfall, weight wise!! I know what I should or shouldn't be eating. I know that I need to burn off more calories than I take in! I am not stupid. I know I need to exercise, but I just cannot find the motivation or the willpower to succeed! It stresses me out as I want to lose weight, I want to buy gorgeous clothes, I want to be fit and healthy. I just cannot work out why once the weekend comes, the vodka calls at about 3pm Friday afternoon and that is it! The hard work throughout the week is blown and i am back to square one again!!

Well I have just had to fork out for the car tax, and the bills account as well as the current account is looking pretty dire. I guess there will be no stash shopping for me for a bit. Steve got finished on his last job a week ago, but has a start for Monday building a garage, so it is not too bad. He also has a few jobs in the pipeline too.

Well that is enough of me, rabbiting on. I will update at the weekend, hopefully with a few scrappy efforts.

Scrap bits and a new dress

I have finally managed to scrap-yay!!! A little layout of our day out at Elsham Hall with Ra Ra!! I thought the pics was long overdue to be scrapped!!

So knocked out this layout in about an hour which is quick for me! The felt alpha's are from the yummo felt Susan gave me, so thanks girlie!! I used chip chatters alphas as a stencil and cut them out! Hows that for thrifty scrapping!
My Yummo dress I brought yesterday, man it is just sooooooo cute! I cannot wait to wear it. I just need some light grey leggings now to complete the look! Gee I am getting cool!!! Well thats the Sunday update done, catch you all later. I am off to browse though my pics and get scrapping again. Then Steve and I are going to watch The last King of Scotland on dvd!!

So I am in pain......REAL BAD!!!!!

I am in pain, I can hardly move. I am doped up on painkillers but nothing is taking it away. I cannot stand up-right, I am bent over pain.

It is embarrassing, I have been bit on the top of my bum cheek by some crazy ass(excuse the pun) insect thing and now it has gone swollen and infected even though I have cleaned it a million times a day and used antiseptic cream. My bum looks like a rainbow, it is multi coloured and it freaking hurts so bad.
It happened last weekend, and I have been strong, carried on going to work like a trooper but now all I want is for it to go away. I am unsure how much more I can take!!!

I want to scrap but cannot sit down properly, I need to clean my house, do the washing and so on, but I cannot stand up.................I WANT MY BUM BACK!!!!

Another month gone by.......

Thats another month that has just flown by! Can you believe how fast this year is going. It only seems 2 minutes ago, that I was blogging about Christmas!!

Nothing much to report really, I have had another driving lesson, which I got to drive on a real road, Poor world!
I have done a bit of scrapping, one of which I have shown and the other will wait till later as it is about my little secret......

Work is going okay, we got our bonus at the 11th hour!! I am so glad, as I had a cheeky sick, well hangover day and I was not going to get paid for it, so my bonus will boost my wages! We are on par for this months too, we have been pretty busy of late, with is soooo much better than just sat there! I did get to leave early today too, which is all good! I also had a dentist appointment today so I came in late too! I HATE DENTISTS!!! Why do they have to prod so much!!

What is she up to???

Well we all know from a previous post, that I am up to something. I will be able to confess at some point after next week. So keep checking back to find out. I just need to finalise some details, then I will spill all.

Today I have been sorting out some bits and bobs in the kitchen, so I decided it was a good idea to show some of my pretties. Here are some of the bits I got for my birthday. Can you tell that I love pink and blue!!!
My gorgeous set of scales and pink pans. I got them for my birthday last year from my Mum and Dad but still have not used them, They may come in handy soon!!!!
Best keep them all safe and secure.................................

All done now!!! Maybe I am decorating my kitchen?

So what have we been up to this weekend then? I got drunk on Friday night, nothing new there! We was busy on Saturday, people to see, places to go! Then today I have been pottering about, washing clothes, cleaning the kitchen and sorting stuff out, and playing on the computer, while Steve is playing 'War things' upstairs with Rob his bro! OOH ER!! I wanted to scrap, but they have declared war and taken over my scrap room, so it will have to wait.

I have some more bits to sort in my bedroom, then I may just chill for the rest of the day and maybe get a little paper and glue messy later and churn out a layout or two! I have some ideas running around in my head!

Update on the 'War' Steve won again! He is now after victory 'you know what'! Wink wink!!! I told him where to go! He makes me laugh that boy! We are not even married, how can we do things like that!!!

So now my room is clear, I am going to print a few pics of and get to work!

Okay, so I have been tagged twice now, and my girl Susan was going to tag me too!! The problem I now have is that everyone I was going to tag back has already done it, so I am going to break the rules somewhat! I will let you know 21 random facts about me, as I have been tagged twice nearly 3 times, but I am not going to tag anyone back! I like breaking rules!!!
So here goes:

1. I have lived in my house for over 5 years and still have not decorated the front bedroom/our creative space! Hence the scary wallpaper shown below!

2. I am such a messy person, hence the state of my scraproom below!
3. The album my girl, Susan send me has been altered! But I still have no layouts in it yet!

5. I am writing this with a hangover.

6. I hate evil parents that send their children out into the world with half mast trousers going on! Seriously how cruel is that!

7. I have two cameras, one for my bag and my D50! Lucky lady!!!!

10. I once worked in Barclays Bank! Now that shocks me as I must be the worst person ever at maths, at 25 I must confess I still do not know all of my times-tables! Hello! I really paid no attention at school what so ever!

11. 'Somebodies book of ladies' Dude, I love that saying! It is from Men behaving badly!

12. I have been with Steve for 6 years, 3 months and 23 days oooh and lots of seconds.

13. I love wearing my jammies! I come home from work and put then straight on! Most weekends I live in them.

14. Best of You, by the Foo Fighters is one of my fave songs ever!!!!

15. I hate public toilets, they make me cringe!

16. Beer makes me blocked up and stuffy for some reason.

17. I brought a cute black pinafore dress today.

18. I hate ironing. I tend to let my clean clothes pile up and just iron what I need each day.

19. My middle name is Jayne.

20. I drove our car today, on a road with cars instead of the empty industrial estate, and I managed not to crash! YAY!!

21. Last but not least............... I am scared to death of spuntids, spiders to the rest of the world!!!!!

I am planning on a chilled Sunday this week, as next week I am having lunch with my Mum and Sis. I am sooooo excited as we have not been out together since Christmas. I must remember my camera!

A big happy birthday to my nephew Reiley for tomorrow, he is 2! My time flies eh!!!!

GO GRETNA!!!!! Gretna have just been promoted to the SPL! I am sooooo happy! You see they are my Scottish football team I support as Steve makes me watch sat football day on Sky News each week, so I had to choose a team!

Here is my latest scrap offering! I am freaking out!!! TOO MUCH WHITE SPACE!!! I so waited to add loads more embellies and bits but decided enough was enough! I just cannot seem to make white space work for me! I love cluttered and messy, with way too much eye candy.
How do you guys work it, clean and simple or messy like me, please share!
